SVG to STL Converter

Make a 3D-printable relief from an SVG logo, icon or line drawing. Black and white is on, so the design stands out from a flat base.

What are you making?

  • Free, without a catch

Convert as many pictures as you like. No account, no watermark, no daily limit.

  • Your picture stays yours

The model is built on your phone or computer. The image is never uploaded.

  • Ready for your slicer

A closed, watertight STL that opens in Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio and other slicers.

How it works

  1. 1

    Drop your SVG

A single-color logo, icon or silhouette on a plain background gives the cleanest result.

  2. 2

    Set size and height

Choose the width in mm, a 2 mm base and how far the design stands out. Mirror it first if you are making a stamp.

  3. 3

    Download the STL

Check the 3D preview, then download a watertight STL and open it in your slicer.

How SVG to STL works here

SVG is a vector format made of paths and curves. This tool does not extrude those paths like a CAD program would. It first renders the SVG as a picture and then turns the picture into a relief: dark areas are raised and light areas stay flat on the base. For logos, icons, text and line art this gives a clean printable result in seconds, with no CAD software. If you need an exact parametric extrusion with editable curves, a CAD tool is the better route.

Best SVGs for 3D printing

Use a design with a few solid shapes: a logo, a monogram, a silhouette or bold lettering. Fill the shapes with black on a transparent or white background. Very thin strokes, tiny text and hairlines will print poorly on a 0.4 mm nozzle, so thicken them in your vector editor to at least 0.8 to 1 mm at the final size.

Because the SVG is rendered to a picture first, gradients and multiple colors become different heights depending on their brightness. The black and white option with automatic level turns them into one clean raised level instead.

Settings for plaques, keychains and stamps

For a wall plaque or sign try 100 to 150 mm wide, a 2 mm base and 1.5 to 3 mm relief. For a keychain, 40 to 50 mm wide with a 2 mm base and 1 mm relief prints quickly, and the Keychain product adds a keyring hole. Stamp is a ready-made option that mirrors the design for you, in black and white. The shape options (square, rounded, circle, heart) and the raised rim help turn a logo into a finished object.

SVG to STL: what to expect

Edges follow the pixel grid of the rendered picture, so a higher detail setting gives crisper curves, and light smoothing rounds off staircase edges. Tops of the raised design are flat only when black and white is on. Open the STL in your slicer, set 100% infill for small parts, and print flat on the bed.

Frequently asked questions

Is this SVG to STL converter free?

Yes. Making reliefs from an SVG is free and unlimited, with no sign-up.

Is my SVG uploaded?

No. The SVG is rendered and converted in your browser. The file stays on your device.

Is this a true vector extrusion?

No. The SVG is rendered as an image and then turned into a relief. It suits logos and line art well, but the edges are pixel-based rather than exact curves.

Can I print the STL in several colors?

The STL is one shape without color. You can change filament at a layer height in your slicer to color the base and relief differently.

Do PNG and JPG work too?

Yes. PNG, JPG, WebP and GIF files all work the same way.
