3D Printed Figurine
Turn one photo of a pet, a person or your own drawing into a figurine file, then print it yourself or send it to a print service.
A full 3D figure from one photo of a pet, a person or an object, in about two minutes. 3 credits per model, 5 in colour. Clear photos with a plain background work best.
Your 3D figure appears here.
The figure is scaled to this height and stands on the build plate. Changing it is free – the model is already made.

How it works
- 1
Choose a photo or drawing
Pick one subject with the whole body visible on a plain background. Pets, people, toys and drawn characters all work.
- 2
Let the AI build the figure
Open the AI 3D tab and generate. It takes about two minutes. Your first white model is free after you sign in with Google.
- 3
Set the height and download
Choose the figurine height in mm with the slider, which is free to change, then download the STL for your slicer.
A figurine file from a single picture
A 3D printed figurine starts as a 3D file, and until recently making that file meant sculpting for hours or paying a modeler. Now one photo is enough. The AI 3D tab on this page looks at a picture of your dog, your child's drawing or a fantasy creature you designed, and builds a full figure in about two minutes, including the side and back that the photo does not show. You download an STL, which slicers such as Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, PrusaSlicer and Cura can open. Then you print it on your own printer, or send the file to a print service.
Make it yourself or order a custom one
Both routes end with a figurine in your hands, and the better one depends on what you have.
Making it yourself costs 3 credits for a white, shape-only model, and your first one is free when you sign in with Google. Credits are sold in packs, so there is no subscription. You pick the size, you can remake the figure as often as you like, and the file is ready minutes after you find the photo. The catch is that you need a printer, or access to one, and you should look over the model before printing. The AI estimates the back and hidden sides, so the result is a good likeness of the photo, not a measured copy.
Ordering a custom figurine from a studio usually means a human artist works from your photos. That route can give a closer likeness and a hand-painted finish with no printer on your side, but it takes longer and leaves you with one fixed design. A middle path is to generate the STL here and send that file to a print service that accepts your own files.
Print it at home
Open the STL in your slicer. The figure stands on the build plate, so you can print it upright. Use tree supports for arms, tails and anything that leans out, 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers for a smooth surface and about 15% infill, which is plenty for a shelf figurine.
Before you slice, check thin parts such as ears, tails and swords. They can snap, so scale the figure up a little or take care when removing supports. The height is a slider in millimeters after the model is made, and changing it costs nothing, so one generation can give you a 60 mm desk figure or a 120 mm shelf figure.
A white print is a blank canvas. Paint it with acrylics to match a pet's real coat, or print in one filament color you like. The In colour option at 5 credits also gives you a colored GLB to use as a paint reference, but the STL is always shape only because the format has no color.
Figurines as gifts
A figurine of a pet or a child's drawing is a gift you cannot find in a shop. Holiday gifts are a common reason people start, and the timeline is short: generating takes about two minutes, and a small figure prints in a few hours on many home printers, so a late idea can still be wrapped in time. Ask a relative to send a clear photo, then make the model yourself.
For a memorial figure of a pet, choose a photo where the animal sits or stands with its whole body visible and a plain background behind it. Grass, blankets and clutter can leave bits stuck to the model, so crop the photo or retake it against a wall.
Only use pictures you own or have the rights to. Do not upload other people's characters or brand artwork to make prints you plan to sell.
Frequently asked questions
Can I make a 3D printed figurine without a 3D printer?
Yes. Make the model here, download the STL and send it to a print service that accepts your own files. You pay that service directly, so check its material, size and turnaround options before you order. Ask whether it accepts STL files and whether it checks them before printing.
How much does it cost to make the figurine file?
A white, shape-only model costs 3 credits, and the In colour option costs 5. Signing in with Google gives you the first white model free. Credits are bought once in packs, so you do not need a subscription. Changing the figure height afterward is free.
Will the figurine look like my pet?
It follows the shape, pose and proportions in the photo, but the AI has to guess the back and any hidden sides, so it is a likeness rather than an exact copy. A clear photo of the whole animal on a plain background gives the closest match, and paint adds the coat colors.
What size can I print it?
You choose the height in millimeters with a slider after the model is made, and you can change it as often as you like for free. The STL stands on the build plate at that height. Check ears, tails and other thin parts at the size you pick.
Can I turn a character I drew into a figurine?
Yes. A clear drawing of one character on a plain background works well, ideally a front view with the whole body visible. Use only artwork you made or have the rights to, and do not upload other people's characters or brands to sell prints.
