Image to 3D Model
Upload one photo and get a 3D model you can print. Pick the AI 3D tab for a full figure, or use the free relief mode for flat prints.
A full 3D figure from one photo of a pet, a person or an object, in about two minutes. 3 credits per model. Clear photos with a plain background work best.
Your 3D figure appears here.
The figure is scaled to this height and stands on the build plate. Changing it is free – the model is already made.

Your picture stays yours
The model is built on your phone or computer. The image is never uploaded.

How it works
- 1
Pick one clear photo
One subject, a plain background and good light give the best result. Pets, people and single objects work well.
- 2
Generate the model
The AI 3D tab builds an untextured, printable figure in about two minutes. Sign in first; your first model is free.
- 3
Download STL or GLB
Choose a height and download an STL standing on a plate, or a GLB that keeps colors.
Two ways to turn an image into 3D
A flat picture has no depth, so there are two honest approaches. The first is a relief: brightness becomes height, and you get a raised picture on a base plate. It is free and exact, but flat. The second is AI 3D: a model looks at one photo and estimates a full figure, including the side and back it cannot see. This page offers both, so you can choose between a quick flat print and a figure you can turn around.
How the AI 3D tab works
You upload one photo of a pet, person or object. The AI guesses the hidden back side, so the result is a plausible shape, not a measured copy. It works best with one clear subject on a plain background; busy scenes, several subjects, motion blur and strong shadows lower the quality. Generation takes about two minutes.
The model is untextured for printing. You can download an STL, scaled to the height you choose and standing on a plate, or a GLB with colors for viewing or other 3D software. Your first model is free after you sign in; each one after that costs 3 credits.
Flat prints: relief and lithophane, free
If you only need a flat result, use the relief mode. It turns PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG and GIF images into a raised relief on a base plate, with ready-made products such as plaque, keychain, coaster, sign, stamp and cake topper. The lithophane mode makes a thin plate that shows your photo when lit from behind. Both are free and unlimited, and they run in your browser, so your image is not uploaded.
Getting a good print from an AI model
Check the model in the preview and in your slicer. Thin parts such as ears, tails and fingers may be fragile, so scale up or add support. Slice with a 0.2 mm layer height for figures, add supports for overhangs and keep the plate for bed adhesion. Expect details to be softer than in the photo, and remember that the back is an estimate.
Frequently asked questions
Is image to 3D model free?
The relief and lithophane modes are free and unlimited. In AI 3D your first model is free after signing in, then each model costs 3 credits.
How accurate is the back of the model?
The AI guesses what it cannot see, so the back is a plausible estimate and may differ from the real subject.
What photos work best?
One clear subject on a plain background, well lit and filling most of the frame. Avoid busy scenes, several subjects and heavy shadows.
Can I 3D print the result?
Yes. Download the STL, which is scaled to your chosen height and stands on a plate, and slice it as usual. The GLB with colors is for viewing or other software.
Is my photo uploaded?
For relief and lithophane, no, they run in your browser. The AI 3D tab has to send your photo to generate the model, so use it only with photos you are happy to process that way.
