Photo to 3D Model
Make a 3D model from one photo and download it as an STL for printing or a GLB for viewing.
A full 3D figure from one photo of a pet, a person or an object, in about two minutes. 3 credits per model, 5 in colour. Clear photos with a plain background work best.
Your 3D figure appears here.
The figure is scaled to this height and stands on the build plate. Changing it is free – the model is already made.

Your picture stays yours
The model is built on your phone or computer. The image is never uploaded.
Ready for your slicer
A closed, watertight STL that opens in Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio and other slicers.
Made with AI 3D

Figure picture → colour 3D model
A crystal-winged baby dragon from a single picture, with its colours baked in. Print it in white and paint it, or keep the coloured GLB.
AI 3D in colour · 5 credits

Favourite card creature → desk figure
Turn the artwork of a character you love into a small figure for your shelf, next to the card itself.
AI 3D in colour · 5 credits

Fantasy art → collectible figure
A three-tailed fire fox with every flame of its tails modelled in 3D, ready for the slicer.

Puppy photo → 3D figurine
One photo of a dog became a full 3D figure you can print and paint. A plain background gives the cleanest result.
AI 3D · 3 credits · printed upright, scale to any height

Cat photo → 3D figurine
A sitting cat from an ordinary phone photo, turned into a printable statue for a shelf or a memorial gift.
AI 3D · 3 credits · printed upright, scale to any height

Kid's drawing → 3D toy
A flat crayon-style dinosaur became a chunky toy that stands on its own legs.

How it works
- 1
Upload one photo
Use a single subject with the whole body visible, on a plain background, in good light.
- 2
Pick white or colour
White is shape only and costs 3 credits. In colour costs 5 credits and adds a coloured GLB.
- 3
Download STL or GLB
Choose the height in mm, then save the STL for your slicer or the GLB for other 3D software.
One photo is enough, with a catch
Most photo-to-3D methods ask for dozens of pictures. This page works from one. The AI 3D tab looks at your photo, reads the subject's shape and builds a full model in about two minutes, including the sides and back that the camera never saw. That makes it quick and easy, and it also means the hidden parts are an informed guess. Below is an honest comparison with photogrammetry, a note on what you can do with the files, and tips for getting a clean result from a single picture.
Single-photo AI vs photogrammetry
Photogrammetry software takes many photos of the same object from different angles and measures its shape by matching points between them. When you can capture the object well, it gives a measured copy, which is the right tool for scanning a real part, a statue or a place. It needs many photos, good coverage, a subject that holds still and time to process.
A single-photo AI model has only one view to work from. It recognizes what the subject is and estimates the rest, so the back is plausible rather than measured. The upside is speed and convenience: you can start from a photo you already have, even of a pet that has moved on or a drawing that cannot be rotated.
So choose by the job. If dimensions matter, such as a replacement part, photograph it from all sides and use photogrammetry. If you want a figure, a toy or a keepsake from the one picture you have, single-photo AI is the faster route.
What you can do with the model
You get two downloads. The STL is for 3D printing: it is shape only, stands on the build plate at the height you chose and opens in Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, PrusaSlicer and Cura. The GLB is for viewing and for other 3D software. With the In colour option the GLB carries colors, so you can spin the model in a viewer or bring it into a scene.
If you plan to use the model in a game or an AR viewer, load the GLB in your 3D software first and check the polygon count and the look from every side. You may need to simplify or clean it up for a project with a strict budget.
For printing, use tree supports, 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers and 15% infill, and check thin parts such as ears, tails and swords.
Getting a clean result from one photo
Use one subject with the whole body visible. A plain background matters most: grass, clutter and busy patterns can leave bits stuck to the model. Good, even light helps the AI read the shape.
The height is set with a slider after the model is made, and changing it is free. A white model costs 3 credits, an In colour model costs 5, and your first white model is free when you sign in with Google. Credits are one-time packs, so there is no subscription.
If you only need a flat print of a photo, skip the AI tab. The relief and lithophane modes on this site are free and run in your browser without uploading the picture. Only use photos you own or have the rights to.
Frequently asked questions
Can one photo really make a 3D model?
Yes, with a limit. The AI builds a full model from one photo, but it has to estimate the sides and back you cannot see. The front matches your photo closely, while the hidden parts are plausible rather than exact.
What is the difference between STL and GLB?
STL stores shape only and is what slicers use for 3D printing. GLB is a general 3D format for viewers and 3D software, and with the In colour option it carries colors. You get both downloads from each model, so you can print one and view the other.
Is this as accurate as photogrammetry?
No. Photogrammetry measures the object from many photos, so it suits scanning real parts. Single-photo AI estimates hidden surfaces, which suits figures, toys and keepsakes. Pick photogrammetry when exact dimensions matter, and single-photo AI when you only have one picture.
How long does it take and what does it cost?
Generating takes about two minutes. A white, shape-only model costs 3 credits and an In colour model costs 5. Your first white model is free after you sign in with Google, and credits are bought once in packs, with no subscription needed at any point.
Do I need a 3D printer to use the model?
No. The GLB works in viewers and 3D software without a printer. If you want a physical copy, you can print the STL yourself or send it to a print service that accepts your own files. The model stays yours to resize.
